I am very excited to be sharing Donna & Josh’s wedding today. I first met the couple during our Engagement session at the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Garden. I love to going an engagement session with my couples so we can all get acquainted and I can teach them how to relax in front of my camera. It’s all not that scary really but an engagement session gives reassurance that they hired the right photographer and helps them getting into the groove of things on their wedding day as they already know and trust me. One less thing to worry about on your wedding day.
Anyway, back to Donna & Josh’s beautiful wedding day. Well, I was a little worried on my way to the wedding as it was raining cats and dogs when I left my house in West Bay. In true Cayman fashion by the time I reach Palm Heights some mere 5 miles down the road, it had stopped. There were still rain clouds lurking on the horizon but lucky they never made it to shore.
When I reached Donna’s room for the getting ready shot, the spirits where high and all the bridesmaid and Donna put on the finishing touches to their outfits.
The ceremony was right infront of the Coconut Club attended by around 100 guests. Josh and Donna had written their own vows for the beautiful seaside ceremony.
For the reception the everyone made their way up to the rooftop of the hotel, which provide a stunning view over the sun setting in the Caribbean Sea.
They started the reception with their first dance followed by the parents dances.
