Cayman wedding with Kenyan Flair | Kanini + Fidel

July 22, 2021

Very excited to be sharing Kanini and Fidel’s Cayman wedding with Kenyan Flair. The wedding took place at Surfers Beach in South Sound one of my favourite spots for intimate beach weddings.

Kanini and Fidel first met on a very, very long flight back to their homeland of Kenya. Rather than sleeping they talked and talked and talked which sparked their love.

Prior to their wedding, they have not seen each other for many months due to the current Covid Pandemic. This made this wedding even more special.

I loved how Kanini and Fidel brought their heritage into their wedding ceremony buy choosing traditional prints for her dress and on his shirt and then they spiced it all up with some funky sneakers.

After the ceremony we took a few images at Surfers Beach and after a quick outfit change including an even better pair of sneakers, we went to Smith Cove for a few more pictures.

Early next year they are planning on a big celebration with their family and friends in Cayman and I can’t wait to be part of Part 2 of their Cayman wedding with Kenyan Flair!
