Nicole and Jon chose the Grand Old House for their Cayman wedding, and with their family and friends they said I do and danced the night away under the stars.
Everyone got ready at the gorgeous Marriot overlooking the famous seven mile beach. The girls had hair and makeup with Jackie and Trina, while the boys headed down to the turtle pool for some snazzy groomsmen pictures.
Nicole wished upon a star while ringing in the new year, 2017, on Seven Mile Beach that she would meet her true love. At that very moment, Jonathan was flying into Cayman for the first time. They met just a month later…
How did you two meet?
Through music at the Private Schools Association Bands Festival. Jonathan was helping Nicole push the piano back to her room and after only a few moments of talking, she said ‘You’re my people’.
We conducted a sand ceremony, whereby the parents added sand from their respective homelands to represent foundation, and the bride and groom added sand from Cayman, representing their coming together and combining lives.
I loved how the couple chose not to see each other before the wedding, but they chose to take a behind-the-door photo at the Grand Old House before their wedding. The lighting draped across the dance floor, made the reception pictures stunning by adding to the ambience of the lighting.
