Today I am sharing Blake and Andrew’s Smith Cove Wedding. These high school sweethearts first met in middle school and started dating in high school.
I asked Blake a few questions about her beautiful Smith Cove Wedding in the Cayman Islands.
How did you two meet?
He took me to my family’s cabin where we shared a lot of fond memories of skiing trips, birthdays, and get away trips with our friends. It was December so there was snow on the ground and he had throw rose petals out and asked me to marry him by the steps where he had a basket which had wine, champagne, and Mr & Mrs glasses.
What’s your favourite moment from the wedding?
During the ceremony, it felt like it was just him and me up there. Alone. We later watched a recording of the ceremony and noticed a rooster was cawing every 10 seconds..really loud! It was very intimate even with our 20 guests.
What advice would you give other couples planning a Cayman Wedding?
You MUST have Janet Jarchow do your photos. They captured the day perfectly and I love every single photo. I look at them daily and sometimes more than once a day. Also, Smith’s Cove is a beautiful location if you’re okay with on lookers. We enjoyed having more “guests” and the loud cheer at the end. If you have specific poses or group shots you want captured, have a list on your phone for reference.
